Brief introduction:
Completed Masters & Bachelor degrees from Dhaka University. Teaching in the Public Universities of Bangladesh since 1986. In the meantime completed Masters and Ph.D degrees from Tsukuba University, Japan. Engaged in teaching research methodology and conducting empirical social research since beginning of the carrier. The thrust areas in the academic and research pursuits include: Poverty alleviation, Socio-economic development, Social development, Social security, Labour welfare, Education for the disadvantaged children, Technical and vocational education and training, Public health & family planning, Family welfare, Social research methods, Social policy, and Social administration.
