Short bio:
Completed BSS (Honours) and MSS degree in Social Welfare from University of Dhaka. Teaching at Jagannath University since 2011. Meanwhile completed Ph.D. degree from University of Malaya, Malaysia. Previously worked at a renowned international research organisation, The Population Council, as a research officer for around two and half years. The academic interest and area of research includes International Migration, Social capital, Gender and Women Empowerment etc. Published a number of articles and book chapters in Scopus and Web of Science-indexed journals and books.
