Biography of Dr. Ishtiaque Selim
Ishtiaque Selim, PhD, is Professor at Department of Economics, Jagannath University. Ishtiaque earned his PhD from Monash University Malaysia in 2021. He received his Masters and Bachelor degree with Honours in Economics from Jahangirnagar University, and later earned an MA in International and Development Economics from University of Applied Sciences Berlin, Germany. Dr. Ishtiaque has a career of nearly 20 years spanning across the fields of teaching, research and corporate banking. His main areas of interest are labour economics, international economics and rural economics.
