Biography of Mamun Chowdhury
Mr. Mamun chowdhury is currently working as an Assistant professor at the Department of Economics in Jagannath University. He also served the department as a lecturer for a couple of years. Prior to joining in Jagannath University, he was a lecturer of Economics at the Southeast University from 2011 to 2013. In addition, at the beginning of his career he also worked in an economic research organization in Dhaka.
His research is situated in the field of development economics and macroeconomics, with a special focus on the income inequality, poverty, and economic growth. He published a number research articles in these fields on the different nationals and globally recognized peer reviewed journals.
However, Mr. Chowdhury was excellent in results throughout his entire academic career. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Economics from Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka. He was also honored with the recognitions of talent pool scholarships provided by the university on the basis of B.Sc. and M.Sc. results.
