জন্ম ৭ নভেম্বর, ১৯৮০। শিক্ষকতাটাই জীবনের প্রধান প্রবণতা। পারফরমার হওয়া মূল লক্ষ্য কখনোই ছিল না। গায়ক বাবার কারণে জন্মগতভাবে সাংগীতিক বোধ অর্জিত হয়েছে। রবীন্দ্রনাথের সংগীতচিন্তা ও রবীন্দ্রসংগীত বিষয়ে ব্যাপক আগ্রহ রয়েছে। রবীন্দ্রভারতী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে 'রবীন্দ্রসংগীত' বিষয়ে স্নাতকোত্তর। জাহাঙ্গীরনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বাংলা বিভাগে অধ্যাপক ড. খালেদ হোসাইনের তত্ত্বাবধানে পিএইচডি অর্জিত। গবেষণার শিরোনাম ছিল : "রবীন্দ্রসংগীতের বাণী, সুর ও ছন্দ"।
Born on November 7, 1980. Teaching is the main inclination of life; becoming a performer was never the main intention. Her father was a singer. So she has acquired a musical feeling by her virtue of birth. She possesses her keen interest in Rabindra Sangeet, also in the musical thought of Rabindranath. She did her Masters in Rabindra Sangeet from the Rabindra Bharati University of India. Furthermore, she has earned her Ph.D. from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh under the supervision of Professor Dr. Khaled Hossain. The title of her Ph.D. research was: "Sayings, Melodies, and Rhythms of Rabindra Sangeet"
