Mr. Roungu Ahmmad is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at the Jagannath University. He graduated from the University of Dhaka 2009 with MS in Statistics, Biostatistics and Informatics and undergraduate from the same university at 2008.

Mr. Roungu Ahmmad received his B.Sc.  in Statistics and M.S. in Statistics, Biostatistics and Informatics from the University of Dhaka. After getting his M.S. Degree, he joined the faculty of the Jagannath University, Dhaka where he is currently an Assistant professor in the Department of Statistics. His research focuses on Statistical computing, Biostatistics, Demography and Public health. Mr. Roungu Ahmmad not only dedicates in methodology development, but he also has great interest and extensive experience in collaboration with researchers for a wide range of studies such as in longitudinal data analysis, cardiovascular diseases, Biostatistics and Migration analysis.

Having joined Jagannath University’s Department of Statistics, Mr. Roungu Ahmmad teaches Introduction to Biostatistics, Fundamental of Statistics, Design and Analysis of Experiment, Advanced Population Studies, Linear Algebra, Advanced Calculus, Introduction of Sampling Techniques, Epidemiology and Social Research Methodology. His current research interests are Longitudinal data analysis, Public Health, Disability of Population, Epidemiology, and International Migration.
