 Mohammad Khirul Islam

Mohammad Khirul Islam born in 1987 in a muslim dignified family in Bhola. He has acquired primary education from his village school. Then he got admitted in a Madrasah and completed Dakhil (SSC) in 2001 obtaining GPA 4.50 and Alim( HSC) in 2003 obtaining GPA 4.67 there. Beside this he has memorized the holy Quran in 1998. Later he got admmitted in the University of Dhaka and successfully completed B.A Hon's in 2008 and M.A in 2009 from the Department of Islamic Studies. By the kindness of almighty Allah he has secured 1st class 1st position in both Graduation and Masters Examination. Now he is continuing Ph.D research under the supervision of prominent Islamic scholar Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdur Rashid on the title "Dhaka University Department of Islamic Studies in Pursuit of Knowledge and Research".

Mohammad Khirul Islam joined Jagannath University in April 2015 as a Lecturer and promoted to Assistant Professor in April 2018. Prior joining to Jagannath University he was the adjunct faculty member of International Islamic University Chittagong, Dhaka Campus.  His interested research field is : Islamic Banking and Insurance, Human Rights in Islam, Islam and Ethics, Islam and Contemporary Issues, Social Problems and Its Islamic Solution.

In his familial life he is married and father of a son. His hobby is reading books and travelling. He has already  travelled many countries such as United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, India, Thailand, Qatar, Bhutan, Egypt etc.
