Biography of Dr. Suchana Sova
Suchana Sova, Assistant Professor, graduated from Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, and completed Masters of Bioethics from Monash University, Australia, before joining as a Lecturer at the Jagannath University in 2011. Then, in 2012, she obtained a Graduate Diploma of Education from the RMIT University Australia.
Next, Ms Sova joined the PhD program at Monash University, Australia. In 2020, she has awarded her PhD Degree, from Monash University. The title of her thesis was Global Health and Justice in International Biomedical Research: A Moral Defence of the Contribution Model of Intellectual Property Rights.
She has attended and presented at Harvard Medical School Annual Bioethics Conference, Harvard University and the International Bioethics Conferences held in the United Kingdom and India.
Ms Sova has also worked as an Ethics Assistant in Deakin University Research Office, and Teaching and Research Assistant at Monash University and The University of Melbourne.
