Biography of xx

I am enjoying higher study leave to pursue my Post-doctoral Associate at the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging in the Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut, USA. Here, I am working on developing new methods in MRI,  including image encoding with nonlinear gradients and novel contrast mechanisms.

Moreover, I have received Ph.D. in Physics, specially in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) from the SPMIC (Sir Peter Mansfield Imaging Centre), the birth place of MRI at The University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. My thesis focused on particularly developing a novel method for motion artefacts correction in MRI, especially in head movement. Now, I am interested to work on pulse programming and do more in image reconstruction. I am also interested in motion corrections in brain imaging and cardiac MRI.

However, I completed some relevant courses of MR Physics; most notably, Foundation of Magnetic Resonance, Magnetic Resonance Hardware, Advanced Topics in Magnetic Resonance, Applications of Magnetic Resonance and MR Spectroscopy. I have conducted experiments on head motion corrections using gradient pre-pulses and standard EPI pulse sequence (Free running EPI), image reconstruction using Statistical Parametric Mapping (SPM), FMRIB Software Library (FSL) and motion corrections schemes to record data and analyzed data (e.g., MRI, EEG, EEG-fMRI, and fMRI) to present results of my research.

In addition, I completed the M.Sc. in theoretical Physics from the Laurentian University, Sudbury,  Ontario, Canada, in which I analyzed data (e.g., High-Tc Superconductivity) to develop effective research results and this particularly enhanced my analytical ability and critical thinking skills.

Currently, I am teaching a few courses such as Quantum Mechanics, Computational Physics, Medical Physics etc. as an Associate Professor at Jagannath University. I attended several international seminars and conferences on MR Physics such as ISMRM, BCISMRM etc.  Recently, I am trying to conduct team-building workshops on MR Physics in different hospitals and Universities in Bangladesh.
