Bishnu Pada Ghosh was born in a small beautiful village named Pathar ghata under the district of Satkhira of Bangladesh. He is the fifth son of Mr. Santosh Kumar Ghosh and Mrs. Kalpana Rani Ghosh. He accomplished his Secondary (SSC) and Higher Secondary (HSC) from Jhaudanga Secondary School and Kalaroa Government College, respectively which are the reputed institutions in Bangladesh. Then he got admitted into the Department of Mathematics at University of Dhaka. Bishnu was very much enthusiastic to learn about the different aspects of mathematics, and so he obtained B.Sc. and MS (Thesis) successfully with securing merit position among his batch. He completed his MS Thesis entitled on “Runge-Kutta Method Revisited” under the direct supervision of Professor Dr. Amal Krishna Halder. He participated in various extra-curricular activities such as BNCC, Sports (Athletics, Swimming and Waterpolo, Cricket, Football, Volleyball etc.). He was the best athlete (consecutive five times) of Dhaka University. He was given a gold medal as the best athlete in the 44th Convocation of Dhaka University and the most prestigious “Dhaka University Blue”award. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Mathematics, South Asian University (an international university established by the eight member nations of SAARC, New Delhi, India) under the cordial supervision of Professor R. K. Mohanty in 2021.
After completing master degree, he joined as a Lecturer in the Department of Natural Science at Stamford University of Bangladesh on February 07, 2009. Then he joined in the Open school of Bangladesh Open University as a lecturer on March 24, 2011. After that he joined as a lecturer in the department of Mathematics at Jagannath University, Bangladesh on May 02, 2011. He promoted as an Assistant Professor on June 28, 2013. He joined as an Associate Professor on December 30, 2021. He has published more than 12 articles in various national and international reputed journals.Research Interest:
