Biography of Noorana

Noorana working as an Assistant Professor, at the Department of Political Science, Jagannath University, Dhaka.  She has studied at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) in Japan (Masters of Public Policy). She completed her M.Phil degree in 2017 at the Department of Political Science, University of Dhaka. The title of her research is " Electoral Violence in Bangladesh: A comparative analysis of 2001 and 2008 parliamentary elections".She has completed her BSS (2011) Honours and MSS ( 2012) from the Political Science Department, University of Dhaka. Noorara is a good debater and actively participates in extra curriculum activities. She joined as a lecturer at the Department of political science, Jagannath University from 2013 to 2016 and now working as an assistant professor.

Research interest:

Conflict and violence, Climate change violence, Election, Electoral Violence, Voting Behaviour, Human Rights, Public policy.
