Biography of Ahmed Ehsanul Kabir
Ahmed Ehsanul Kabir, Barrister-at-Law (Lincoln's Inn, UK)
Barrister Kabir completed his SSC and HSC from Dhaka Residential Model College obtaining First Division in both. Then he secured First Class Third position in both LLB (Honours) and LLM from the University of Dhaka. Subsequently he pursued another LLB (Honours) under the University of London, UK and attained Post-Graduate Diploma in Bar Professional Training from the University of Northrumbria, UK. He was called to the Bar from the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn, UK and enrolled as an Advocate of Bangladesh Bar Council. Besides, he attained Post-Gradaute Diploma in International Humnitarian Law from NALSAR University of Law, India as an ICRC scholar. He is pursuing his M.Phil on Administratration of Juvenile Justice in Bangladesh at the University of Dhaka under the supervision of Professor Dr. Mizanur Rahman, Ex-Chairman of National Human Rights Commission. He is also pursuing a specialized LLM on Advanced Legal Practice under the University of Northrumbria, UK. His research interest extends to issues of Juvenile Justice System, Energy Law, Consumer Protection, Media and Cyber Laws. His teaching areas include: Law of Torts, Legal Reasoning, Media and Cyber Laws, Moot Court Lawyering, Trial and Advocacy and International Humanitarian Law.
