Biography of Dr. A. K. M. Lutfor Rahman (Chairman)

At present I am doing the following research-

Synthesis of nano-zeolite as active catalyst for the use in alkane functionalization, Dye removal and Electrochemical application.
Synthesis, characterization and application (antimicrobial, antioxidant etc.) of organometallic compound.
Removal of toxic dye using environmental friendly adsorbent.

Past research

Assessment of the quality of water and sediment soil of the Turag and the Buriganga river.
Complex compound containing Molybdenum and Chromium metal.
Functionalization of alkane (methane and ethane) by liquid phase partial oxidation
Assessment of ¹²⁹I and ⁹⁹Tc a long-lived β-radioactive nuclide by gamma induced reaction.
Photo cross section measurement of some s-block, d-block and f-block elements.
