Biography of Dr. Mohammad Lokman Hossain
Mohammad Lokman Hossain was born in the Chandpur District in 1975. He completed his BSc and MSc graduation from Chittagong University, BD. He was MPhil student of Jahangirnagar University, Savar. He did PhD degree at Peking University, China under the guidance of Professor Jianbo Wang in the area of organic synthesis, especially in diazo-chemistry. After the successful completion of his PhD research, he started his individual research at Jagannath University in 2015 on Pollution Chemistry. Now he is leading a research group on Environmental Chemistry. Presently he is working as a Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Jagannath University, Bangladesh. He has published 6 national and 15 International papers in peer reviewed high impact factor journals. He has led 6 research projects sponsored by Jagannath University Research Grants and Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), Bangladesh. He was awarded the International Students Academy Award in 2013 for his excellent research career at Peking University.
