Biography
Dr. Sajeeb Saha joined in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Jagannath University, Dhaka, Bangladesh as a Lecturer in 2012 and serving as an Associate Professor at present. He worked as a Lecturer in Dhaka International University from 2010 to 2012. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Dhaka in 2021. He received his B. Sc. and M. Sc. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the same institution in 2007 and 2009 respectively.
He has been teaching a good number of courses related to Computer Networks, Network Routing and Switching, Internet and Web Programming, Object Oriented Programming, etc. to graduate and undergraduate students of reputed universities.
He has published a good number of research papers in reputed journals and conference proceedings. He also attended around 20 national and international conferences, workshops, and seminars. As a researcher, he has received two international conferences best paper awards. His research interests include Mobile Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, IPv6 Transition, WiMAX performance, Energy Optimization, and Congestion Control Mechanisms. Mr. Saha is acting as an Associate Editor, Jagannath University Journal of Science, Bangladesh. Besides, he is acting as a reviewer, program committee member, editor in different national and international conferences and journals.
Mr. Sajeeb Saha is an active IEEE member from the last seven years and participated actively in different IEEE related activities. Recently, he has been elevated as a senior member of IEEE. Presently he is serving as the Award Coordinator of the IEEE Computer Society Bangladesh Chapter and acted as Secretary, Student Activity Coordinator, Web and Media Coordinator, IEEE Computer Society Bangladesh Chapter in 2021, 2019 and 2018, respectively. He served as the Vice-Chair and Program Coordinator in IEEE Student Branch, the University of Dhaka in 2017 and 2016, respectively. Currently, he is a Mentor of IEEE Jagannath University (JnU) and University of Dhaka (DU) student branch. He is one of the key people to arrange different IEEE seminars and workshops in different universities organized by the IEEE Computer Society and IEEE DU and JnU student branch. He played a vital role in organizing IEEE BDS Congress 2016, Student Conference on Science and Engineering (SCSE) -2017 and International Conference on Innovation in Engineering and Technology (ICIET) 2018 and 2019. He is also a member of IEEE Young Professionals (YP). Besides, Mr. Saha is also a member of the Internet Society Bangladesh, Dhaka Chapter.
