Courses Titled: History of Bengal (1765-1947); Medieval Europe (476-1453); History of West Asia (1453- 1914); History of West Asia (1914- 1948) at Undergraduate Level; Social, Economic and Cultural Aspects of Medieval Bengal; Nationalism and Nationalist Movement in Colonial Bengal; Bangladesh Since Independence at Graduate Level.

  • Taught more than 900 undergraduate and about 150 graduate students each semester.
  • Delivered lectures and stimulated discussions for approximately 85 undergraduate and about 40 postgraduate students in each class as required for the academic excellence and also for the job responsibility.
  • Monitoring students on their study, exam preparation, and helped them in developing their critical thinking and analytical ability for achieving their academic and career goals.
  • Assigned topics for essays and presentations, 8 students in each group, for developing teamwork and presentation skills of the students for academic achievements.
  • Conducted examinations and tutorials, supervised students in exam halls, evaluated students’performances.
  • Enthusiastically participate as a discussant in Academic Committee and Committee of Courses meetings at departmental and campus-wide levels to reshuffle and resolve the academic routine, students’ problems, academic performance of faculties and rearrange courses and degree requirements and framed developmental issues of the department and the university.
  • Served as a referee for students applying to corporations for employment and internship placements.
  • Acted as a member of different committees, such as the Course Design Committee, the Exam Committee, the Study Tour Committee, to support the functions of the department and the university.
  • Facilitated office hours on campus and kept students’ records as per university policy.

  • My responsibilities and duties were relating to preparation of manuscripts, printing and publication of books relating to the history of Bengal from ancient to the 1707 that was mainly focused on history, society, culture and heritage of Bengal.
  • Assist Chief Editor and Co-editors to arrange project meetings and develop the ideas for the better arrangement of publications
  • Coordination with the national and international expertise and scholars on the particular topics related with ancient and medieval Bengal.

Asiatic Society of Bangladesh, Dhaka.

Project Titled: ‘Celebration of 400 Years of Capital Dhaka’

  • My works and duties were relating to preparation of manuscripts, printing and publication of 11 books out of 19 books relating to the Celebration of 400 years of Capital Dhaka Progrrame that was mainly focused on history, culture and heritage of Dhaka as a oldest Capital of South Asia from 1608 to 2008.
  • Assist Chief Coordinator and Chief Editor and Deputy Chief Coordinator and Managing Editor.
  • Acted as a Moderator of the project meeting and collaborator with the distinguished members and contributors in the connection of the Celebration of 400 years of Capital Dhaka Programme.
  • Arranged seminars as a Coordinator by national and international high profile guest scholars for approximately 2 00 members of Asiatic Society of Bangladesh in the connection of Celebration of 400 years of Capital Dhaka Programme.
  • Monitoring and coordinate the conservational work of Nimtali Gate (Nimtoli Deuri, a historic establishment in Dhaka built around 1765, nowadays, has been turned into a heritage museum) for better understanding the history  and  heritage of capital Dhaka.
  • Assist to arrange wide range of celebration programme like Tradition Cake Fair of Dhaka (Dhakaiyya Pitha Utshab) and wide range of traditional cultural programme like Kawali And Gazal Concert (Kawali and Gazal Utshab) for the local people of Dhaka.
