 Research work:

1. Present Research Work is going on a) Synthesis of five and six membered heterocyclic compounds and study of their Antimicrobial, Antioxidant and Computational Study

b) Preparation of Au and Ag Nanoparticle using natural products resources and study of their Antimicrobial activity.

c) Preparation of activated carbon from biomass and Study of their electrochemical properties using Glassy Carbon Electrode.

d) Isolation of bioactive secondary metabolites from the endophytic fungi of medicinal plants.

 

2. PhD Research on “Study on the Manganese(III)-based oxidation of tetramic acid and tetronic acid derivatives and the related reactions” under the supervision of Hiroshi Nishino, D.Sc. in the chemistry Department of Kumamoto University, Japan as a part of PhD thesis.

 

 3. MS Research on “Isolation of endophytic fungi from medicinal plants and studies of fungal metabolites” under the supervision of Prof. M. Mosihuzzaman and Prof. Nilufar Nahar in the chemistry Department of Dhaka University as a part of MS thesis.

 

THESIS  SUPERVISSION:

Thirty four students completed their M.Sc. thesis work on the following fields:

Biofuel (4), Natural Product Chemistry (10), Organic Pollutants (3) and Activated Carbon from Biomass (1),  Inorganic pollutants (1), Organic Synthesis (15)

Two M. Sc. students are continuing their research work on the following fields under my supervision.
