Sonia Corraya has completed her BSc. (Honors) and MSc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka in 2010 and 2012 respectively. She secured the highest mark in the Master's Examination 2009 (held in 2012) of Jahangirnagar University among approximately 1750 students of the 35 departments of Jahangirnagar University. She also made the very first record of securing CGPA 4 out of 4 at MSc. in CSE department of Jahangirnagar University. For her this achievement she received Sharfuddin Gold Medal Award for the Best Academic Performance in Jahangirnagar University at the 5th Convocation Program of Jahangirnagar University on 5th February 2015. Prior to joining Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Jagannath University, Ms Corraya was a faculty member in the department of Computer Science and Engineering at BRAC University. She also served as a Specialist - Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse at two multinational companies. She also has completed a large scale business project as a software consultant. Her research interests are data analysis, cognitive psychology, education and learning , big data analysis and AI.
