Biography of Dr. Gulshan Ara
Dr. Gulshan Ara, is a Professor of the Department of Chemistry of Jagannath University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. She completed her B. Sc. and M. Sc. degree from the Department of Chemistry, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. She has received PhD in Chemistry from University of Dhaka on “Ionic Liquids and Their Binary Systems with Molecular Solvents as Catalyst and Reaction Medium for Organic Synthesis”. She has participated a good number of conferences on chemistry in home and abroad as a presenter (both oral and poster) and received best poster award from International Conference on Materials Chemistry (ICMC-2014), Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh, in 2014.
