Biographical Note:
K.M.Sujauddin, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at Jagannath University,Bangladesh. He has been teaching sociology since January 1, 2017 in the Jagannath University, Dhaka. He received his BSS and MSS from the same university namely Jagannath University, a well- reputed university in Bangladesh. After completing his MSS he taught sociology in two Private Universities in Bangladesh (North Western University, Khulna and First Capital University, Chuadanga) for about two years. With a view to satisfying his academic desire and betterment of his career, he participated in several training programs on ‘Social Science Research Techniques for Transportation Planning and Safety’ organized by Accident Research Institute, BUET, Dhaka, ‘Advanced Training on Research Methodology’, organized by Jagannath University and sponsored by Planning Division, Ministry of Planning, The People’s Republic of Bangladesh. In addition, he has conducted a number of research projects in Jagannnath University and took part successfully in several conferences/seminars as well as published a plethora of articles in reputed journals.
Research Interests:
Urban problems (crime and violence), Development, Mass communication, Disaster and vulnerability.
