Bijon Baroi is attached as a faculty to the Psychology Department, Faculty of Life and Earth Sciences, Jagannath University, Bangladesh. Mr. Baroi obtained an M.Sc. (Thesis) degree with a specialization in Clinical and Counseling Psychology in 2018 and a B.Sc. (Honors) degree in Psychology in 2017 from Jagannath University, Bangladesh. He secured the first position in both the M.Sc. and B.Sc. Examinations. Before joining as a faculty, he had worked as an MHPSS Psychologist at the Humanitarian Crisis Management Program (HCMP), BRAC. He completed his internship as a Trainee Clinical Psychologist at Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital, Bangladesh. His main research areas are investigating mental health problems, cognitive function, and psychological interventions. To his credit, Mr. Baroi has published several scientific articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals and adapted several psychometric questionnaires. He has been supervising thesis projects for both Bachelor's and Master's Degrees and clinical cases for trainee psychologists. He is a director and associate project director of several funded research projects. In addition, he has been working as a clinical supervisor at the Jagannath University Counseling Centre. Mr. Baroi also works as assistant editor of the Jagannath University Journal of Psychology (JnUJP) and associate editor of MONOKOTHA (A psychology concept-based yearly magazine). Furthermore, he is a content writer and training facilitator in counseling, psychotherapy, and quantitative research.
