Mr. Md. Shahinuzzaman is currently an associate Professor and researcher of Psychology at the Department of Psychology at Jagannath University, Dhaka Bangladesh. Born in Natore, Bangladesh, Shahinuzzaman obtained a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Dhaka.  Shahinuzzaman secured the 1st position (top of the list) among the graduating students in his class.  He received a gold medal from the President of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh for outstanding results and got a full scholarship that covered all education expenses at the University of Dhaka. Shahinuzzaman also received a scholarship from the Rajshahi Education Board (REB) for his excellent academic achievement. After receiving an MS degree in psychology in July 2005, Shahinuzzaman joined as an adjacent faculty at S. B. postgraduate college and Eden Govt. Women College in 2005. After that, Shahinuzzaman joined Jagannath University (JnU) in Bangladesh as a lecturer in Psychology in 2007.

 Mr. Shahinuzzaman has a good range of teaching, and research experience, a good number of national and international articles, and also released a textbook entitled “Experimental Design and Statistics in Psychology” for Undergraduate and Graduate levels. Mr. Shahinuzzaman gained psychological treatment-oriented and research methodology-oriented training and workshops from national and abroad. Broadly, Shahinuzzaman has research interests including Child and Adolesecne Mental health with ADHD and ASD, Quantitative Psychology, Family and Child welbeing, School Psychology, Educational Psychology, Clinical and Counseling Psychology, anxiety, and depression disorders in diverse groups such as children, adolescence, dysfunctional parent,  special and rural populations, using feasible modes of service and  development treatment plan as well.
