Biography of Dr. Sanjida Khan
Sanjida Khan is working as a faculty member of a public university named Jagannath university in Bangladesh. She is also an Assistant Clinical Psychologist, has been practicing in Dhaka, Bangladesh for about six years. She is a passionate scholar-practitioner in the field of mental health who divides her time between teaching, clinical practice, training, and scholarly writing and research. She has been working with different local and international NGOs for promoting mental health services and awareness to the common people. For the last three years, she has been closely involved in supporting mental health issues of Rohingya refugees. Therefore, she is working collaboratively with UNHCR, Bangladesh, and University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia. Now she is on study leave from her current job for pursuing Ph.D. at Monash University Malaysia and her research focus is on memory and mental health problems of Rohingya refugees.
