Research Project

  • Research Project on “Risk Communication and Community Engagement in Contact Tracing for COVID-19 in South East Asian Region: An Exploratory Study in Bangladesh”.   This study is funded by the World Health Organization (WHO-SEARO). I was appointed as Principal Investigator (PI) of the project. The project will be started in February 2024. According to the project proposal, it will be a four-month project.
  • Research Project on “Risk Communication and Community Engagement in Contact Tracing for COVID-19 in South East Asian Region: An Exploratory Study in India and Bangladesh”. This study is being funded by the World Health Organization (WHO-SEARO) and is being conducted in India and Bangladesh between January and May 2022. I was one of the researchers of the project.
  • Research project on “Global Pandemic (COVID-19): Responses of Bangladeshi People”. The study was conducted in Bangladesh from May 2020 to August 2020 during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Professor Dr. Mohammad Salim and Dr. Mohammad Bilal Hossain, with ten junior researchers, collected the information through questionnaires in Bangladesh. It was a self-funded project, and the study will be included as a book chapter on the ‘History of COVID-19 in Bangladesh’.
