Professional Exprience of Dr. M. H. Mesbah Ahmed
Research Experience
- Three years of research experience (PhD) on developing Electrode to study charge transfer for dye sensitised solar cell (DSSC) from N3 dye, R6 dye and Bi-isonicotinic acid on rutile, anatase and mesoporous TiO2.
- Practical experience on SPECS DeviSim near ambient pressure X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (NAP-XPS) instrument consisting of an ultra-high vacuum (UHV) preparation/analysis chamber and interchangeable NAP cells that can be docked onto the entrance of the Phoibos 150 NAP hemispherical analyser.
- Practical experience on homebuilt system VESPA. It consists of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy (UPS) measurement. An Omicron DAR400 X-ray source with magnesium and aluminium anodes, Omicron HIS-13 helium UV lamp and a Scienta R3000 hemispherical analyser contribute spectroscopy.
- Three beamtimes research experience in SOLEIL synchrotron facility, Paris, France to perform Resonance Inelastic X-ray scattering (RIXS) of dye molecule on the semiconductor surface.
- Beamtime research experience in MAX IV synchrotron facility, Lund, Sweden to perform Resonance Photoemission Spectroscopy (RPES) of dye molecule on the semiconductor surface.
- Research Fellow, Semiconductor Technology Research Centre, Faculty of Science, the University of Dhaka from 1st September 2012 to 31 December 2012.
- One year of research experience in Material science in the Physics department, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Bangladesh as an M.S. thesis student.
