Associate Professor
Mrs. Najmun Nahar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography and Environment, at Jagannath University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. She accomplished her Ph.D. in 2022 from the International Environmental Conservation Laboratory under the Department of Environmental Science and Technology, Graduate School of Bioresources, Mie University, Japan. Her Ph.D. study focuses on environment-friendly sustainable ground improvement using rice husk ash waste.
She achieved her B.Sc. (2005) and M.Sc. (2006) degrees from the Department of Geography and Environment, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. She has been involved in teaching since 2011. She is a member of the Bangladesh Geographical Society (BGS) and the Japanese Geotechnical Society (JGS). Her research interests involve Geographic analysis, Environmental pollution, Environment management, Environmental behavior, Environment-friendly ground improvement, Disaster management, etc. Her papers on these areas have been published in reputed journals at the national and international levels.
