Doctor of Philosophy (Transferred),

University of Nevada-Reno,

Civil and Environmental Engineering,

Dissertation: Intelligent Transportation System

Supervisor: Dr. Zong Tian

Duration: Fall 2013 to Summer 2015

Research Area: On-ramp queue estimation and optimization for both online and offline utilizing Computer Vision and Stochastic Signal Processing. Developing guidelines for practicing transportation engineers.

M.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering,

Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Thesis: Modeling of Graphene Nanoribbon Field Effect Transistor Utilizing Simultaneous Adjustment of Chirality and Width.

Supervisor: Dr. Md. Ziaur Rahman Khan

Duration: October 2009 to May 2013

Thesis Description: Simultaneous adjustment of chirality and width produces interesting and useful bandstructures for circuit application. A rigorous quantum mechanical bottom-up analysis was done to model all-Graphene Nanoribbon circuits and the model was simulated by MATLAB.

B. Sc. In Electrical & Electronic Engineering,

Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Thesis: MOSFET Modeling in Saturation Using Multiple Polynomial Regression.

Supervisor: Dr. M. M. Shahidul Hassan

Thesis Description: Multiple polynomial regression method was used to predict MOSFET characteristics in saturation and existing Early voltage approximation was found invalid. For simulation Cadence Virtuoso and HSPICE along with MATLAB were used.
