PROFESSIONAL & RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

September 2015-Till Date: Working as Professor in the Department of Microbiology of Jagannath University Dhaka

August 2011-September 2015: Working as Associate professor in the Department of Microbiology of Jagannath University, Dhaka.

March 2010-August 2011: Working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology, Jagannath University, Dhaka

July 2005-March 2010: Working as a Senior Scientific Officer in the department of Industrial Microbiology, Institute of Food Science and Technology, Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Responsible for the development of many products through microbial fermentation such as soyasauce, vinegar, bakers yeast etc. Production of microbial enzymes from locally isolated bacterial and fungal strain and optimization, characterization and purification of the enzymes such as glucoamylase, pectinase, protease, alpha-amylase and cellulase.

April 1995-July 2005: Working as a Scientific Officer in the department of Industrial Microbiology, Institute of Food Science and Technology, Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Dhaka, Bangladesh. 

June 1994-April 1995: Working as a Special Project Officer in the Quality Control Department of the Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited a well known pharmaceuticals in Dhaka Bangladesh was responsible for microbiological analysis of pharmaceutical products and environmental monitoring of the production area and the plant.
